Getting Back on the Bandwagon!

I am really having trouble getting back into my groove again. I don't know if is due to the cold, snow or lethargic. I mean I started swimming again (didn't go Monday) but not have run since two Sundays ago and a couple of indoor training bike rides. And the only reason I did that is because I sent the e-mail to raise money again.

Now running is a little important because I signed up for a Half Marathon in April at Rutgers. I printed out this training plan that starts Feb 14 to be ready for the race. My goal is to go from a 15 minute to 12 minute mile (I really want to go to 11 but that is pushing it LOL) So the drills and training are important.

Swimming is important because 1) I don't want to take 50 minutes again UggggggH and 2) I am doing the 1.2 mile swim for the REV3 Tri Relay. So I need to get it together.

Which brings me to biking...well I signed up to do the Tour de Cure September 17 (100 mile ride) for the American Diabetes Association to honor my Dad. SO you would think I would be hopping my ass on that bike. Mind you the bike is set up in the trainer in the basement so there is no excuse!

I am such a sucker sometimes. Anyway, I did start this 100 push-up and 200 sit up challenge today (Day 1 Week 1). Did some strength exercises. On Monday.

I just know I have been encouraging people to sign up for 5Ks and I am slacking LOL

FOCUS Niambi FOCUS!!!
